Australian Tile Council Awards Night

Stoneworld was present at the 2008 Australian Tile Council (VIC Division) Awards Night held at the Crown Casino, Melbourne on Saturday 12th July 2008.

Each year a number of category awards, nominated by members, and judged by an independent team of judges, are presented to the winners at the ATC’s annual Awards Night.

The Australian Tile Council is the recognized body representing the ceramic tile and associated industries in Australia. Its mission to the Australian Ceramic Industry is to assist to advance business image and welfare, by doing collectively, those things which individuals could not effectively achieve independently.

We did not nab an award this year, but as a bronze sponsor, we were presented with our certificate of sponsorship (as pictured). And most importantly, we had fun!

Stoneworld Celebrating 21 Years of Quality

Stoneworld is celebrating its 21^st Anniversary on 1^st June 2008.

This June we are celebrating our twenty first anniversary. Twenty one years serving the Australian tiling and building industry has given Stoneworld the best possible experience to continue to do so. Being well known for supplying quality products, we pride ourselves in sourcing the best materials from well known manufacturers such as Atlas Concorde, Bode and most recently Kimgres.

Stoneworld have also launched a number of innovations in our continuous effort to provide the best possible service. The heralded Enterprise Portal launched to give our customers 24/7 service to check stock and place order online. Our much praised website, www.stoneworld.com.au, also features the Retailer Search function, which connect our valuable customers to potential buyers.

We believe we have done well and we are well placed to do even better in the future. However, we could not do this all on our own. Our customers have been our greatest partners. Our passion to develop partnership and grow relationship with our customers will definitely be the driving force for us to do even better.

We will continue to work hard to be your first choice for quality tiles.

Stoneworld Goes Green!

To help out with our environment, Stoneworld is launching EnviroStoneworld, our environmentally responsible initiatives. We have always been looking for environmentally conscious practices. For instance, our newsletter is printed on recycled paper which contains at least 50% recycled material.

Stoneworld has also joined the ‘Cartridges 4 Planet Ark’ program. Close the Loop is the recycling and resource recovery partner to the national program and is a leading global recycler of imaging consumables including inkjet cartridges, laser toner cartridges, drum units, copier bottles and more. Using state of the art separation and sorting processes, up to 50% of the cartridges collected are returned to the Original Manufacturer for their own component recovery programs, the remaining cartridges are recycled with zero waste to landfill.

Now that’s good news!
