| Ceramica Concorde was set up in Spezzano di Fiorano in 1969 to produce semi-finished products for the ceramics industry. In 1976, Ceramica Atlas was founded in Finale Emilia for production of double-fired floor and wall tiles. In 1981, the two companies merged to form Ceramiche Atlas Concorde, becoming the area's largest producer of single-fired white paste floor tiles. In 1988, Atlas Concorde introduced porcelain stoneware technology, and in 1996 it launched a program to renew its production facilities, making the Company a reference point in the ceramic industry. Atlas Concorde's complete and highly informative product catalogue features porcelain stoneware and single-fired floor tiles as well as double-fired, mono-porous, and mosaic wall tiles. Thanks to sizeable and continuous investments in research and development and in human resources, the Company is now the leader on the ceramic tile market and exports to over 150 countries around the world. |
